The Sustainable Garden, developed in collaboration with the University of La Laguna is an attractive space that reproduces throughout 1,000m2 a typical Canarian ravine, with flowing water and the characteristic plant species found in these environments. Also, specimens of the European eel have been introduced, since it is the only freshwater fish present in the islands. Apart from integrating the biodiversity present in the Canarian ravines, the Sustainable Garden stands out because of its educational facet, as well as contributing to a general awareness of the Canarian Nature. Furthermore, the garden teaches us about the different aspects that meet the concept of Sustainability, namely the environmental, the economic and the social aspects.
