Information for schools:
The aim of Pirámides de Güímar is to be a great learning space. Our main objective is for children to discover a unique setting of great ethnographic value, where learning is encouraged and curiosity for the origins of civilization, transoceanic travels and respect for cultural heritage are stimulated. We therefore offer a series of activities including guided visits, workshops, botanical routes, educational games, always adapting each visit to the age group, in order to facilitate the understanding of the contents.
Guided visits
School visits will always be undertaken by one of our professional guides, who will accompany the children around the premises, adapting each visit to the age group.
Workshops
We offer a range of workshops that will make the visit more enjoyable, such as the cactus workhop (creation of traditional toys with prickle-free cacti leaves) or the clay workshop (where children create seals and engravings).
The duration of a guided visit is approximately one and a half hours without workshop or two and a half hours with workshop. This is a minimum duration estimate, since we can adapt to any extra time the school may have.
