Federico and amigos
Federico is a curious and adventurous boy who lives in the Canary Islands. He loves exploring nature, observing animals, and discovering surprising stories. Ever since he learned about the expeditions of explorer Thor Heyerdahl, he has dreamed of living his own adventure… and today he shares it with you at Pirámides de Güímar.
Every time Federico visits the Park, he ventures into its gardens, paths, and natural corners with a mission: to learn, observe, and protect nature. Here, he has discovered that birds are great travelers, explorers of the sky, and an essential part of the Canary Islands’ ecosystems.
But his feathered friends are hiding among the trees… and Federico needs help to find them.
With the opening of the Bird Path, Federico begins a new adventure designed especially for children. Along the route, kids will explore the main ecosystems of the Canary Islands while searching for the birds that live in or visit the park.
The path combines play, learning, and observation, encouraging curiosity and respect for nature.
How does the game work?
During the activity, they will:
- Follow the path marked on the map
- Search the trees for wooden figures of 15 different birds
- Identify each bird when they find it
- Place the corresponding sticker in the correct spot on the map
Federico and Amigos transforms the visit into an interactive experience. Through play, children learn about the birds of the Canary Islands, their relationship with endemic flora, and the importance of preserving natural ecosystems.
A fun and educational way to discover the Park as a family.
The Federico and Amigos project is designed for children, parents, and companions to enjoy together. While kids play and explore, adults discover the natural and cultural richness of Pirámides de Güímar.
A shared adventure that turns the visit into a special memory.
